Hannah Lingafelt is joining Tapestry as a licensed professional counselor associate and music therapist with a passion for helping clients find resources and strength within themselves. Hannah received her Master of Arts degree in clinical mental health counseling with a concentration in body-centered therapy and her Master of Music Therapy degree in music therapy focusing on body-centered music therapy from Appalachian State University.
In her practice as a counselor and music therapist, Hannah focuses on finding internal resources through the mind-body connection as a way to achieve better health. She has clinical experience utilizing the mind-body connection in medical facilities, with individuals with psychiatric disorders, and with college students with body image issues. Hannah is also an advanced trainee in the Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music, a music-centered depth approach to transformational therapy.
