Katie attended Oklahoma State University where she completed her Bachelors, Masters and Dietetic Internship Program. She joined the Tapestry team at the end of 2014 after passing her RD exam, working at Tapestry until the fall of 2016. Having gained a great deal of experience in eating disorders, Katie chose to strengthen her clinical foundation by transitioning to a position working in long-term care. After a year and a half, Katie returned to Tapestry in the spring of 2018 with enhanced clinical and professional skills.
Katie’s passion is helping individuals who struggle with eating disorders. She is also an advocate for educating the community, as well as her family and friends. Her goals when working with clients are to nourish, educate, provide hands on opportunities, provide accountability and improve client relationships with food.
As the lead dietitian, Katie provides support, guidance and mentorship to her fellow Tapestry Dietitians. She loves being part of the interdisciplinary team at Tapestry. When Katie is not engaged in her passion of learning about and helping those with eating disorders, she enjoys hiking, cooking, running, traveling, Watching OSU football and spending time with her family.
