Molly joined Tapestry as a Licensed Professional Counseling Associate and LCAS-R. Molly has been working in the mental health field since 2012, when they graduated from Warren Wilson College. After working for several years as a behavioral technician in the Asheville area, Molly returned to school for two Master’s degrees in Education and Psychological Counseling from Teachers College, Columbia University in New York City.
Molly has experience and passion working with folks with trauma, mood and personality challenges, substance use and folks within the LGBTQIA+ community. Molly brings to their work a deep love and knowledge of person-centered theory, intersectional/feminist therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy.
When Molly is not working directly with clients in individual and group therapy, Molly can be found in their art studio pouring acrylic paint or dancing to live music in downtown Asheville.
