The Road to Meaningful Living

Adolescent Eating Disorder Treatment in Fletcher

Residential Treatment Programs

Our eating disorder residential treatment program for adolescents focuses on improving body image, building a healthy diet, and exercising.

Our adolescent program is led by licensed therapists who specialize in eating disorders, a registered dietitian with extensive eating-disorder experience, and qualified resident counselors. While this program is highly structured, it is also non-restrictive. We prefer that family members are heavily involved in the treatment plan and therapies of our clients.

This program offers round-the-clock support and typically lasts 8-10 weeks. We enable clients to continue current studies, so they don’t get behind on their education while in treatment. We work with each client’s school to assist in home-bound assignments and educational assistance.

Our eating disorder residential treatment program is available for adolescents ages 11-17 at our Fletcher location.

Our adolescent eating disorder residential treatment program includes:

  • Individual, group, and family therapy
  • Personal nutrition sessions with a registered dietitian
  • Menu planning, food preparation, and mealtime support
  • Age-appropriate restaurant dining
  • Therapeutic groups, including acceptance and commitment therapy skills, body image, and attachment
  • Educational support
  • Yoga and other body movement groups
  • Expressive arts groups, including music and art therapies

Day Treatment

In Tapestry’s adolescent eating disorder day treatment program, male and female participants ages 11-17 will work together to prepare food, enjoy supportive meals, and develop healthy relationships with eating. We strongly encourage family involvement in treatment. Healing occurs best when family members are invested in the recovery process.
